The Danes are deemed the happiest people in the world. You see, they know how to create warm, cosy, snug homes, in contrast to the treacherous weather outside. The Chai Vibe is much the same. It’s about creating a warm, fuzzy feeling within, even if it's "metaphorically" cold outside.

As for us, we've always found peace and solace in nature. With Ingrid being a wellness advisor and qualified herbalist, Mother Nature has been her source of healing and joy in a medley of ways. Nature is like home to Max and me, both inside and out, and that "feeling" of home, wherever we go, is important to our wellbeing. It makes us feel safe. 

The Chai Vibe manifested because Chai is our go-to drink, especially when "cold" challenges arise. It's like a huge hug and a homely feeling that would make us relax, realign and smile again.

From our chai to baking cinnamon rolls, the soothing smells of warming cinnamon and fragrant cardamom are nearly always in our home. Although British-born, there's a real Scandinavian Hygge Vibe that runs through our abode, with natural surfaces, textured rugs, and throws. Combined with a love of Indian culture from childhood, although we live in London, our home is where we can escape the hustle and bustle of the city. We often say that The Chai Vibe is like Hygge, just a tad spicier:)

There was only one problem with all this indulgence, however, and that was the Sugar!!!

Yep, at some point, guilt would come in and rob us of our peace. Ingrid set to work to find a cleaner alternative and one that aligns with nature.  Being a keen baker (yep, after three months of auditioning, Ingrid nearly ended up on a very famous show:), Ingrid thought the base recipes would have taken around seven days. However, it took a whopping seven months!

But it was worth it. We hope you love the Chai Vibe too and that it brings you as much inner joy, harmony and peace as it brings us.
